TERMS OF USE
Last updated July 29, 2026
1. AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS
These Terms of Use are a binding agreement between you and the Academikx business identified on your accepted quote, invoice, payment record, checkout record, or account notice ("Academikx", "we", "us", or "our"). They apply to https://www.academikx.com/, quote and signup flows, accounts, support channels, payment flows, and services supplied under an accepted order (together, the "Services").
By requesting a quote, creating an account, accepting an order, paying an invoice, authorising account access, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, the accepted order, our Privacy Notice, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. The accepted order and any current published guarantee expressly applicable to the purchased service control if they give you a more specific service commitment, protection, or remedy.
We may update these Terms when our Services, operations, or legal obligations change. The updated version applies from the date shown above. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate information about your location, institution, course, requested work, and where the Services will be used.
Academikx does not offer services in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Austria, England, or Wales. We may also decline, suspend, or cancel a request where applicable law, sanctions, payment restrictions, third-party restrictions, or operational limits prevent us from providing it. If we cancel a paid order for this reason, the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to any amount paid for work not performed.
3. THE SERVICES AND ORDER SCOPE
Depending on the accepted order, Academikx may provide academic assistance, written assignments, discussion posts, homework, projects, quizzes, examinations, research, editing, tutoring, class monitoring or management, and authorised access to a course or learning-management account. The exact service, deliverables, deadline, price, payment schedule, and any applicable protection or guarantee are those shown on the current service page used for the purchase and confirmed through the accepted quote, order, invoice, checkout flow, or account area.
We may decline work that is unlawful, unavailable, unsafe, outside the accepted scope, or not reasonably capable of completion within the stated conditions. A request is not accepted until Academikx confirms it in writing.
4. QUOTES, ORDERS, AND CHANGES
A quote is valid until the date shown on it. If no expiry date is shown, it is valid for 30 days. Prices, deadlines, and availability may change after a quote expires.
You must provide complete and accurate instructions, deadlines, files, course requirements, access information, and other material needed for the order. A change requested after acceptance may require a revised price, deadline, or scope. We are not responsible for delay or non-performance caused by missing, late, inaccurate, inaccessible, or materially changed information outside our reasonable control.
5. ACCOUNTS, ACCESS, AND CLIENT AUTHORISATION
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for protecting access to your Academikx account. Tell us promptly through the approved support channel if you believe an account or credential has been exposed or used without permission.
Where an accepted order includes access to a course, platform, or learning-management account, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the access and you expressly authorise Academikx personnel assigned to the order to use it only for the accepted scope. You remain responsible for completing required identity, consent, and authentication steps. Your authorisation does not amend the terms or rules of any third-party institution or platform.
6. PAYMENTS, INVOICES, AND RECEIPTS
Prices and payment timing are stated in the quote, order, invoice, checkout flow, or account area. An order may require advance payment, staged payment, weekly payment, milestone payment, or payment after a stated result, depending on the written terms accepted for that order.
Taxes, currency conversion, bank charges, and payment-provider charges may apply depending on your location and payment method. Academikx or an authorised provider may issue an applicable tax invoice or receipt and may keep payment and transaction records required by applicable law. Payment providers handle card or wallet information under their own terms and privacy notices. Academikx does not store full payment-card details.
If a payment is late, declined, reversed, disputed, or charged back, we may pause work, restrict access, cancel the affected order, recover unpaid amounts, or refuse new orders, subject to applicable law and the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. WRITTEN GUARANTEES, CORRECTIONS, AND REFUNDS
A guarantee or protection shown on a current Academikx service page and applicable to the purchased service, or stated in the accepted quote, order, invoice, checkout record, or account area, forms part of the order according to its stated wording. Its scope, conditions, evidence requirements, exclusions, and remedy apply as stated. These Terms do not silently cancel or reduce an applicable published or written guarantee.
Corrections, replacements, credits, cancellations, and refunds are handled under the accepted order and our Refund and Cancellation Policy, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use the Services to:
- break applicable law or violate another person's rights;
- provide stolen credentials, stolen material, malware, or material you are not authorised to share;
- misrepresent your identity, authority, location, institution, course, or payment information;
- interfere with the Services, scrape data, overload systems, or use unauthorised automation;
- bypass Academikx security, payment, account, or access controls;
- harass, threaten, defraud, exploit, or harm another person; or
- request conduct that Academikx reasonably believes is unlawful, unsafe, or outside the Services available for that order.
We may investigate, refuse, restrict, suspend, terminate, preserve records, or make a lawful report where we reasonably believe these rules have been breached.
9. MATERIALS YOU PROVIDE
You retain ownership of materials you provide. You give Academikx permission to use, reproduce, adapt, transmit, store, and disclose them only as reasonably needed to quote, perform, review, support, bill, secure, document, or enforce the Services and to comply with applicable law. You confirm that you have the right to provide those materials for the accepted purpose.
10. COMMUNICATIONS
We may send transactional messages about quotes, accounts, orders, deadlines, payments, support, security, and legal updates. Marketing or reminder messages will include any opt-out method required by applicable law. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary transactional messages.
11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Academikx website, brand, software, designs, workflows, and materials supplied by Academikx are owned by Academikx or its licensors. You may use them only for the Services and may not copy, resell, publish, reverse engineer, or exploit them without written permission, except where applicable law allows otherwise.
12. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
You may stop using the Services at any time, subject to accepted orders and amounts already due. We may restrict or terminate an account or order for non-payment, fraud, misuse, security risk, material breach, legal requirement, or operational necessity. Termination does not remove rights or obligations that arose before termination or provisions that are intended to survive.
13. DISCLAIMERS
Except for a current published guarantee applicable to the purchased service or an express commitment in an accepted written order, the Services and website are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted platform access, error-free operation, or a decision by an institution, instructor, platform, payment provider, or other independent third party. Nothing in this section overrides an applicable published or written guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Academikx is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the affected order was accepted.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Academikx's total aggregate liability arising from an affected paid order is limited to the amount paid to Academikx for that order. This limit does not reduce any specific published or written refund, protection, or guarantee remedy that applies to the order.
15. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses or third-party claims caused by information, credentials, files, instructions, or conduct that you were not authorised to provide or that materially breached these Terms. This does not make you responsible for Academikx's own fraud, negligence, unlawful conduct, or non-excludable obligations.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
The contracting Academikx business and any governing-law or dispute term specific to your order will be identified in the accepted quote, invoice, checkout record, payment record, or account notice. Where no specific rule is stated, applicable conflict-of-law and jurisdiction rules determine the governing law and forum. Mandatory consumer, privacy, and other non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
Before starting formal proceedings, either party should give written notice of the dispute and allow at least 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it, unless urgent relief or a shorter mandatory deadline applies.
