Acceptable Use and Account Access Policy
Last updated July 27, 2026
1. Scope
This Policy applies to clients, tutors, administrators, managers, accountants, reviewers, service providers and anyone who visits or uses the Academikx Services. It forms part of the Terms of Use and any tutor or workforce agreement.
2. Accepted Class and Account Work
Academikx may accept full or partial online class management and individual academic services. Depending on the accepted order, authorised personnel may access a client provided course account, monitor deadlines and grades, and prepare, complete, revise or submit class work, assignments, discussions, quizzes, tests, examinations, labs, projects, papers, coding work, capstones, theses or dissertations.
The accepted order must identify the client, class or task, scope, access method, deadlines, payment terms and any written guarantee. No person may expand the scope or use an account for an unrelated purpose without approval.
3. Client Authority for Account Access
A client who provides account access confirms that the account belongs to the client or that the client is authorised to control it and permit Academikx to use it for the accepted order. The client must not provide:
- an account obtained by theft, purchase, deception or unauthorised access;
- another person's account without that person's authority;
- banking, government, health, employment or unrelated account credentials;
- false identity, location, institution, class or account information; or
- access connected to a restricted jurisdiction.
Academikx may request reasonable confirmation of ownership or authority and may stop access where information appears false, stolen, unnecessary, unsafe or legally prohibited.
4. Credentials and Two Factor Authentication
Use only the approved channel to provide passwords, access instructions or two factor authentication support. Do not post credentials in public chat, ordinary support tickets or files unless that channel is expressly approved for credentials.
Clients must respond promptly when a login requires a one-time code, approval, password reset or other verification. Tutors and staff must not reuse credentials, disclose them outside the assigned team, store them in personal notes or devices contrary to the approved process, or retain them after the authorised need ends.
5. Third-Party Account Rules
A school, course provider or platform may have its own rules about account sharing, outside assistance, identity, submissions, artificial intelligence, proctoring and assessments. Those rules are controlled by the third party. The client is responsible for reviewing them and deciding whether to use the Services.
No one may make a false representation to Academikx about account authority or instruct Academikx to defeat a legal restriction or gain access to an account the client does not control. Academikx may stop work where continuing would create an unacceptable legal or security risk.
6. Restricted Jurisdictions
Do not request, order, provide or support Services in, from, to, or for use in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Austria, England or Wales. Do not use false details or another person to conceal a connection to a restricted jurisdiction.
Academikx may also decline a particular request where the service is prohibited or materially restricted by applicable law. See the Service Availability and Restricted Jurisdictions Policy.
7. Platform and Network Abuse
You must not:
- access or attempt to access an Academikx account, role, file, message or system without permission;
- share an Academikx login with an unauthorised person;
- evade role restrictions, authentication, rate limits or other Academikx access controls;
- scan, test or probe Academikx systems without written permission;
- introduce malware, destructive code, attack tools or harmful files;
- scrape, crawl, copy or export platform data through automated means without written permission;
- overload, disrupt, reverse engineer or interfere with the Services, except where a non-waivable legal right applies;
- use bots or automation that Academikx has not approved; or
- help another person do any of these things.
Report a suspected vulnerability under our Security and Responsible Disclosure page.
8. Fraud, Payment and Commercial Abuse
You must not use false billing information, a payment method without authority, a fabricated refund claim, altered evidence, duplicate accounts, chargeback abuse, referral manipulation or another deceptive method to avoid payment or obtain a benefit.
Clients and tutors must not move an Academikx order, payment or assigned relationship outside the approved process in breach of an applicable agreement.
9. Harassment and Misuse of Communications
Do not use messages, files, chat, email or notifications to threaten, harass, stalk, discriminate against, exploit, defraud or expose another person. Do not send spam, malicious links, sexual content, illegal content, or material that is irrelevant to the order and reasonably likely to cause harm.
Reasonable complaints, firm payment discussions, lawful reports and good faith disputes are not prohibited merely because they are critical.
10. Files, Confidentiality and Personal Data
Upload only material reasonably needed for a quote, order, support request, payment, quality review or dispute. You must have the right to provide it. Do not upload unnecessary identity records, full payment credentials, health records, another learner's work, confidential employer information or private information unrelated to the service.
Tutors and staff may use client information only for their assigned duties. They must follow role limits, confidentiality requirements, deletion instructions and incident reporting procedures. They must not use client data for a personal portfolio, outside business, publication, model training or contact list without written authority.
11. Tutor and Staff Conduct
Tutors and staff must:
- work only on orders assigned or approved through Academikx;
- follow the accepted scope, instructions, deadlines and quality process;
- use only approved accounts, tools, devices and communication channels;
- protect client credentials, files, messages and grades;
- report access failures, suspicious activity, conflicts, delays and errors promptly;
- keep accurate progress and payment records; and
- avoid unauthorised direct payment or off-platform solicitation.
The signed Tutor Agreement controls compensation, status, confidentiality, intellectual property, tax, discipline and termination. The public Tutor Terms Summary is not a substitute for that agreement.
12. Consequences
Academikx may investigate suspected misuse and may warn, limit, pause, suspend or terminate an account or order; remove material; change permissions; preserve evidence; reverse a benefit; withhold disputed tutor amounts where the signed agreement permits; or make a lawful report to a provider or authority.
We will consider seriousness, evidence, risk, prior conduct, client impact and whether a less restrictive response is reasonable. Immediate action may be taken for security, fraud, stolen access, restricted-jurisdiction or legal risk.
A suspension or termination does not automatically decide a refund or payment dispute. The relevant order, Refund and Cancellation Policy, tutor agreement and mandatory law apply.
13. Reporting Misuse
Report account abuse, stolen credentials, fraud or harmful content to contact@academikx.com. Report a security vulnerability to contact@academikx.com. Include the account, order or message reference and enough information to investigate, but do not send unnecessary private data.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy when the Services, risks or legal obligations change. Material changes will be posted with a new date and notified where reasonably practical.
